North Carolina is a great state for visitors. Visitors can enjoy outdoor activities from hiking, mountain climbing, and skiing in some of North America’s most beautiful natural scenery like the Blue Ridge Mountains or Smokey mountains while also experiencing diversity with African American culture along NC’s coastal region that includes secluded barrier islands as well as bustling beachfront cities such Wilmington which has more than 30 miles worth beaches!

Chimney Rock State Park is home to the beautiful 400-foot (120 m) Hickory Nut Falls and miles of hiking trails. The most famous destination in this state park is Chimney Rock, which boasts amazing views that will make your heart skip a beat!

The view from the top of this 26-story chimney is nothing short of spectacular. The Visitors can either take an elevator up to get there, or they have rewarded with a steep climb 500 steps – approximately 31 flights! This park was only authorized by North Carolina’s General Assembly several years ago but it has since become one people love visiting for its breathtaking sights and wonderful breeze as well.

Hanging Rock features some pretty impressive waterfalls such as The Devil’s Chimney just off its famous hiking trail which leads up into these gorgeous quartzite formations called “Hangin’ Rocks.”

Ashville is a beautiful city located just outside of the world-famous Biltmore Estate. This Châteauesque styled mansion was built between 1889 and 1895, making it one of America’s largest privately-owned houses with about 1 million visitors coming each year!

The Blue Ridge Parkway is one of my favorite drives, not just because it’s beautiful but also for the culture. You can go from mountaintops to beaches in less than two hours while touring through many cities along this 469-mile stretch!

Charlotte, North Carolina is the Queen City and home to many interesting attractions including Carowinds amusement park with its roller coasters. It’s also where you’ll find US National Whitewater Center which has whitewater rafting courses for all levels from beginners up through experts; Discovery Place Science Museum combo aquarium/ biology center that features exhibits about oceans or rain forests–whatever your interests maybe!

The NASCAR Hall of Fame and Charlotte Motor Speedway are both located in this city. In addition, just about every race shop that has anything at all related to the sport can be found in nearby Mooresville which is only an hour’s drive from downtown Charlotte!

Visitors to Wilmington will be able to enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Riverwalk, which runs alongside the Cape Fear river. There are also many mansions and plantations in this area including Poplar Grove Plantation where you can see America’s oldest peanut plantation dating back before 1838 as well as Antebellum Bellamy Mansion built during Reconstruction Era after Civil War ended!
